West Plaza - Utah State Capitol

The Space

The West Plaza is a superb location for any special event, from weddings and receptions to any social gathering. The site offers expansive views of the Salt Lake valley and of the Capitol’s beautifully groomed grounds and monuments. With the Capitol’s stately granite façade, the southwest cityscape, and/or beautiful sunsets in the evening hours, there are many unique backdrops to commemorate your event.  

Special event insurance required for use. There is no running water or kitchen use for events on plazas.

West Plaza set up diagram must be submitted no later than 2 weeks before event or additional fees will be charged.
